“Amazing service and the dribble bibs are gorgeous and lovingly made. I will definitely be making more purchases in future” C. Gardner, Western Australia September 2017
When we started designing our baby bandana bibs in Australia, we wanted to make sure we made something that’s not only stylish but practical. We concentrated on how we could reduce the amount of drool seeping through to the babies skin. After trialling a few different feeding bibs we decided on adding pleats. Ensuring that as much of the drool would be caught in the pleats as possible.
We also wanted to make sure that the bandana bib is as eco-friendly as we can make it. By using the soft cotton fabrics for the front of the bib, combined with the bamboo backing we have achieved this. Both of these materials are considered eco-friendly as cotton is biodegradable, renewable and sustainable. Bamboo is also eco-friendly as it is a quick-growing material and is also biodegradable.
Also, our baby dribble bib have a gap between the front and the back to let the fabric breath while the backing is made from bamboo. This is not only a super absorbent material but it is very soft to touch ensuring your babies comfort.
To fasten the bib there is a KAM snap that joins at the back. We have found that this is the most secure way of attaching the bib. We also handmade the feeding bibs here in Australia. Prior to sending out any products, we check and test every single item for quality. Your baby is our highest priority.
When sourcing our fabrics we search far and wide, as well as next door. We use fabrics from internationally acclaimed designers as well as up and coming students. Recently we have used exclusive designs made especially for us from Western Australian designers.
The prints that have been developed exclusively for us are the Cactus, flamingos, bird perch and whales prints. The Cactus print is developed by graphic artist Megan Isabella and transforms beautifully onto our range of products. The flamingos, bird perch and whales prints are all stunning designs by SAE design students.
It gives us great pleasure knowing that we are helping design students get there start. It’s so rewarding knowing that when we are sending out these designs that they haven’t been mass-produced. Knowing that parents are receiving a unique, stylish and trendy dribble bandana bib that is original is such a thrill.
We offer a selection of bandana bibs specifically for baby girls which include beautiful floral prints, gorgeous designs, bright pinks, and a range of solid colours. These all come in our super absorbent and soft to touch material which has been designed to keep your baby dry.
Our range of bandana bibs for baby boys include animals prints, solid colours and simple and adorable patterns. These are ideal for if you have a teething or drooling baby or just want to dress him up in style.
We always try to offer a unique selection of fabrics for boys and girls and we update our patterns regularly. We also keep in mind that some of the most beautiful patterns are unisex designs.
Here is a little sample of some of the patterns we are currently stocking. We are always updating our range of prints however visit our online store for the current designs.
To give you a bit of an insight into how we make the bandana bibs, below are the steps on how we make them.
Firstly we measure and cut the front pattern of the dribble bib. I then cut the terry-towelling backing into the shape of the bib. From here I pin the front and back together to make the bandana bib shape and sew it together. Attached by hand, the love heart and swing tag have all the safety instructions and product details attached. We then add the KAM adjustable fasteners which are for connecting the bib around the babies neck. We put two fasteners and then iron the product ready to pack and send.
We don’t only make the bandana dribble bibs style, we also make a smaller bib, perfect for newborns. The Larger bib is for those messy eaters and droolers. While the Bandummy bib has an additional piece of fabric on the bottom with a Kam snap at the end. This is for you to attach a teething toy or dummy.
We love all our products but our favourites are the Australian Made bandana bibs. In addition, we have also recently become a stockist of the Natursutten Dummy range of natural rubber soothers. These eco-friendly dummies are made from 100% rubber and are sustainable and biodegradable.
In addition to the soothers, we have also recently added a gorgeous pregnancy journal, baby book and baby record book to our range of baby accessories.
Our baby girl headbands and top knots are a mums’ favourite. We have the same fabrics in both the bandana bib and girls hair accessories so you can match your little girl.
We recommend that our baby bandana bibs in Australia are worn by babies between the age of 3 and 24 months. The front is made from 100% cotton while the back is made from an organic cotton and bamboo mix. We use the KAM plastics fastening system on all our bibs ensuring they are easy to connect and remove.
They are designed to wear around the neck. Please do not leave your baby unsupervised when they are wearing our items. They can be potentially harmful if worn incorrectly and without supervision.
