For over five years we have been making organic and eco-friendly bibs in Perth, Western Australia. We have recently opened our baby shop at 17 Wickham Street, East Perth.

I started making bibs in 2014 after the birth of my daughter. I found it difficult to find organic and absorbent bibs. So with my textiles and fashion designer background, I started making them from home. And soon my mother’s group started asking me to make these for them too. I started with three different styles and to this day still offer the same ones. These are;
Baby Bibs
The smallest out of all our styles are our newborn bibs. These have two adjustable fasteners so your suits a growing baby. Each of these is handmade in our East Perth baby store.
Bandana Bibs
This dribble bib is designed for a growing and teething baby. The pleats on the front of the bib capture any excess dribble. Keep your baby dry. Like all our bibs they have been designed and made in Perth.
Large Bibs
Our larger style bibs are designed for toddlers and bigger babies. They have a larger coverage and are ideal for toddlers. These are also handmade here in our East Perth store.
My friends encouraged me to try selling them at Markets around Perth. The first-ever market was at a little hall in South Perth and I was blown away by the support and feedback. From here I started attending the Perth Upmarket at UWA and have had booths at the PBC Expo in Claremont.
Here I met some other small business owners who were interested in wholesaling our bibs. Since then I have had our bibs stocked by many online and retail stores throughout Perth and Australia.
The next logical step was to open my own baby shop. Which I did in September 2021. This is in East Perth and we can’t wait to get involved in the local community. Besides being locally focused we are proud to be an Australian company and are a licensee of the Australian Made Campaign.
In addition to the bibs, we make a range of other products from our East Perth studio. These include teething toys, burp cloths, baby gifts sets and a large selection of children’s hair accessories.
The one thing that has been the driving force for my business is the customers. And it is the main reason to keep going. The comments I receive from customers about our bibs and the quality are amazing. And how they make life easier by reducing the washing is a driving force for me.
