Characteristics of these bibs
When looking for a bib that is absorbent these are the things you should consider;
- Multiple Layers - Having at least two layers is critical. If the drool seeps through one layer you have a second layer for protection. While the dribble of a single layered bib can soak through to your baby and cause drool rash.
- Absorbent Materials - There’s no point in having multiple layers if they are not absorbent and thick. If the materials are thin they will soak through. So it’s important to have bibs with absorbent materials. The best type of materials for bibs are cotton and bamboo. These are eco-friendly, sustainable and absorbent. And this is the materials we use in ours.
- Pleats - The best type of bibs for dribbling have pleats on the front. These capturing the dribble and act as a dam rather dropping onto the babies clothes. Our bandana style bib has these pleats.
About our Absorbent Bibs
We handmake our bibs in Australia, and below is more information on them.
Materials
The front is made from 100% cotton while the backing is made from a thick cotton bamboo mix. There are two KAM fastening points made of plastic so you can adjust the bib as the baby grows.
Colours and Prints
We have a large selection of solid colours and prints for boys, gender neutral and girls. While the girls designs include snugglepot, wild lavender, magnolia, daisy, under the sea and pink prints. For the boys prints we have the boats, fish, lions, dog, dinosaurs and koala designs.
Age Range
The age range of these bibs are from three months through to two years, however they can be used for newborns. These have been developed to assist when babies start drooling the most when they start teething.
Shipping Information
We ship throughout Australia from our East Perth shop using the Australia Post network. Dispatch is within 3 business days from date of order for delivery within 7 business days from dispatch. We do offer an express service for time critical deliveries.
