History of the 100 day celebrations
In many countries it is customary to have a celebration for when a baby reaches 100 days of age.
One hundred is considered a special number in many cultures as it signifies wholeness and perfection. And this is why many celebrate this milestone.
Who normally celebrates?
The 100 days celebration normally takes place in China, Japan, and Korea. However this is becoming more common throughout the world.
Why is it important?
In the past there was a high mortality rate in babies so when they reached 100 days it was an indication that the baby would most likely survive.
When should you give this gift?
The parents of the new born will host a party and this when you should bring the gift.
What to give for an 100 day baby gift
In Chinese cultures babies are born into a year and you should try to align the present with this. To help you determine the theme here is a list of the Chinese new year;

Where possible we use organic and eco friendly materials that are long lasting and stylish. With the majority of the materials we use being cotton and bamboo because of their sustainability and absorbent properties.
Handmade
Many of the items included in the sets are handmade in our Perth store. These include the bibs, burp cloths, nursing pads, hair accessories and bunny teethers.
Gift Wrapping, Card and Message
All of our pre-made 100 day hampers come beautifully gift wrapped and with a card. We can also include a message in the card for you too!
Build your own
You may prefer to build your own hamper using the abundance of items we stock in store. Simply add the build your own product and start shopping.

- Delivery – Order online and we will arrange delivery. All orders are dispatched within 2 business days from date of order. For delivery within 7 business days from date of dispatch.
