Reusable Breast Pads

Our organic washable reusable breast pads are handmade in Australia using soft and absorbent materials and come in a set of 2 pads.

Materials

The materials are eco-friendly and sustainable. The front layer is cotton while the back is an organic bamboo cotton mix. Between the two layers is a Polyurethane Laminate (PUL). This is a soft, waterproof, breathable and easily cleaned material. Combined with bamboo and cotton it makes them extremely absorbent.

Size

These breastfeeding pads measures 12cm from one side to the other and they come in a set of 2.

How to use

These non disposable breast pads should be places over the center of your nipple. You can use a bra to keep them in place. Continue to use pads for as long as you are producing milk. This will be roughly 3- 6 months. Each pad will last for 4 – 6 hours and should be changed after this time or if they become soaked. They can be worn at night as long as you change them every 4–6 hours or when wet.

Age Range

These are to be used by the mother and can be used prior to the birth of the baby and for as long as you choose to breast feed.

Cleaning, Maintenance and Storage

These washable nursing pads are easy to maintain. They can be cleaned by placing them in the washing machine with similar colours at 40 degrees for 30 minutes.

Once washed, place in a tumble dryer or hanger and dry thoroughly. And to store place in your nappy bag, clothes drawer or feeding station, as long as it is a dry environment.
